Pre-lesson Assessment

Assessment to discuss individual client's requirements and expectations and to assess the current ability of the dog. These assessment's are essential to establish overall direction of dog and handler and ensure an effective outcome from the lessons. Assessment usually takes approximately an hour and is a good opportunity for handlers to ask any questions/queries in relation to their dog and previous training they may have started.

Puppy Classes

Learn the steps you should be making with your new puppy from 12 weeks through to 4  months old. These classes are on a 1 to 1 basis.

1. Crash class to starting off on the right foot. Watch and see all the things you should and should not be doing in your first few weeks of taking your puppy home.

2. The second stage is the art of keeping your puppy close and introducing retreaving.

3. Introduction of lead work. Lead work is one of the most common things to get wrong so its important that handlers learn the correct skills.

Daily Lessons

Lessons are available 9am to 4pm September to March and 8am to 8pm April to August.

Lessons are £35 per hour and booked at a time to suit you. Lessons are tailored to suit you and your dogs needs and include use of the rabbit pen if appropriate, or perhaps pigeon shooting over your dog.

An additional handler and dog may be added to a single lesson at an additional cost of £15.

Weekly Lessons

If you buy consecutive weekly lessons they are available at a discounted rate of £30 per lesson. A minimum of 4 lessons is required and bookings must be made in advance.

Timings of lessons are the same as above.
