Now is the perfect time to be brushing up on live game steadiness and ensure you and your dog are confident and ready for the beginning of the new season.

RABBIT PEN TRAINING

Rabbit pen training is an essential part of any gundogs training. There is little point spending time throwing dummies for your dog and then questionning why your dog runs in on the first bird that it experiences. All dogs should have exposure to live game in a safe controlled environment where issues with game can be dealt with in advance rather than leaving it to the first day of the season to find out whether your dog can cope with the situation, by which point it is probably too late.

The rabbit pen is also available for private hire by an individual, however a first lesson is mandatory to assess the competence of the handler and dog in the rabbit pen.

The rabbit pen is 1 acre in size making the longest leg at one point over 200 yards. Proving popular even wth labrador trainers, the pen is stocked all year round with at least 20 plus rabbits plus pheasants to give the real feeling of the wild.

The pen is well mainted all year round.

Prices:

Lessons - £35 per lesson and £15 per additional handler and dog

30min hire - £20 per handler
